Nancy and Michael – June 21st

We call Nancy (very affectionately) the Queen of Bling.  She and her wedding co-ordinator (Karen, from Essential Experiences and Events) masterminded a dazzling event, with Nancy’s profession as an actor lending a theatrical flair to this special day.

Her bouquet featured individual petals of cymbidium orchids with a touch of bling in the centre and diamante detail on the handle of the bouquet.  The bridesmaids also had composite bouquets of orchid petals but with a pink tinge.  Michael the groom shared in the fun with a special silver filigree holder for his buttonhole and the flower girls carried purses of fresh orchids. 

The ceremony was at St Stephens Cathedral followed by the reception at Hillstone St Lucia in the Grandview room.  As always Hillstone offered exceptional service, food and ambience.

Tall candelabra each with 9 candles graced the guest tables, all named after words relating to marriage such as romance, loyalty and desire.  Strands of rose petals and crystals threaded together hung from the candelabra and at the base pink rose petals and scatter diamonds on large mirror rounds completed this sparkling affair.  Invitation Station’s prowess came to the fore starting with the invitations and continuing to the order of service, the swing tags on each candelabra and finally Thank You notes sent by the happy couple.  Cinderalla would have been proud!
