With Kelly’s busy schedule, Meryl (mum) stepped in as “wedding co-ordinator” and outdid most of the professionals at their own game.

The Villa at Nerang (now closed to weddings) hosted both the ceremony and venue – suberb location and service.  With rain clouds hovering it was a close call as to whether the ceremony would be inside or out but fortunately the weather held.

Roses featured as the main flower – from simple posy bouquets for the bride and maids, to magnificent martini glasses for the guest table displays.  The bride and maids’ bouquets interspersed with extra posies decorated the front edge of the bridal table and Greg from Sweetums created a stunning cake atop an heirloom silver cake stand and icing flowers so real you’re tempted to touch them (just to make sure).
